Founded in 2010 by Martin and Lewis Start, Saffron Salt Supplies was originally based in Little Chesterford, near Saffron Walden in Essex. Our journey began with a clear mission – to provide customers with water softener salt at the most competitive prices without compromising on quality or service. In 2024 we relocated to premises near Haverhill, allowing opportunity for safer storage and expansion of the business.

At Saffron Salt Supplies, we focus on making the process of obtaining water softener salt as convenient as possible. We proudly supply customers within a 25-mile radius of Saffron Walden, offering a simple, fuss-free delivery service for a product that is often heavy and cumbersome for most people.
Our Range
In 2013, we expanded our product line to include dishwasher salt, together with 10kg water softener tablet salt, both offered in more convenient, easy-to-carry type bags. Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has remained at the heart of everything we do.
